Tania BOUCARD presents the animal in its entirety. Sculpting in raku allows the texture of the animal’s skin to be represented, giving it a realistic dimension. What’s more, this realism is due to the many details present: the build, the wrinkles in the skin and the facial features. The sculpture’s many reliefs are astonishing.

Claire ROGER is an artist specialising in “nériage”. The manufacturing technique is very special: the clay is coloured in the mass then cut into small pieces which are assembled with infinite patience to create the object. Claire Roger’s art and imagination do the rest.
