She grew up in Bangalow, surrounded by nature and a loving family.<\/p>\n<p>Her perspective was shaped between the artistic world of her mother and the spiritual legacy of her father, Bobby McLeod, a poet and Aboriginal activist. Now living in Byron Bay with her husband and their three children, Niah explores her identity through a sensitive and meditative artistic practice. The loss of her grandmother marked a turning point.
