Savina Gillès de Pélichy expresses her love for wildlife through sculpture, where contact with the earth allows her to bring to life a wide variety of animals, including extinct and endangered species. Her work seeks a serene balance between art and emotion, which has earned her several awards, including the gold medal from the Cercle Royal Gaulois in 2024. Her bronze sculptures, cast at the Sara De Groeve foundry, represent diverse species ranging from the saber-toothed tiger to the extinct great auk and the dodo.
