LARGE SET OF 14 MAHOGANY HEPPLEWHITE STYLE DINING CHAIRS

A quality large set of 14 Georgian Hepplewhite style mahogany dining chairs of good color and condition, featuring broad reupholstered leather seats that are generously wide, providing comfortable seating. This large set, comprising 2 armchairs and 12 dining chairs, dates from the late 19th century and displays a desirable aged patina throughout. The chairs are upholstered in green leather with shaped arched backs and pierced vase splats above the seats. All are raised upon square section front legs, gently splayed to rear legs, united by an H-stretcher. England, circa 1880. The seat height is 48 cm.
