François Vandenberghe
was born in 1951 in a small town in the Eure et Loir region of France.
He was greatly influenced by a 27-year stay in Gabon, where he achieved sporting fame by winning a number of championship titles in both motorbike and car racing.
Elephants remain the artist’s favourite subject, and he stages them in allegories that he masks behind a disturbing appearance of reality. His incredibly light elephants address existential questions such as birth and death, love and dependence, charm and egocentricity.

Daniel Pessel (1965, France)
is a creator at heart. 25 years as a graphic designer/illustrator in Aix-en-Provence pushed him ever further into design and the pleasure of the eye.
Today, his sculptures are drawn from a mechanical universe combining sewing machines with noble materials such as steel, leather and wood. Numerous misappropriated objects combine to create imposing machines driven by charismatic characters. Are they dreamers, idealists, enthusiasts or adventurers? Each viewer will be free to create the world that suits them.

Ilhwa Kim (born in 1968 in South Korea)
creates works made up of tens of thousands of hand-rolled and hand-dyed pieces of Hanji paper. Kim calls these individual rolls ‘seeds’.
The Korean artist hand-dyes each sheet of paper with thousands of different colours, and cuts and rolls the layers of paper to make them rigid. This allows Kim to create an emotional connection with each universe. No two universes have the same shape, look or colour in his work.
Kim’s wall sculptures have been exhibited around the world and are held in museums and private collections around the world
