Véronique Malaise
About us
Véronique Malaise, antique jeweler since 1989.
A graduate of the Liège School of Jewelry, she has shared her passion for the restoration and preservation of antique jewelry by teaching for four years “The History of Jewelry Through the Centuries” at Château Massart in Liège.
Step by step, she then devoted herself to the search for carefully selected pieces, not only for the prestige of a signature but above all for the representative qualities of their periods: “when the refined excellence of jewelry was the result of close collaboration within the same workshop, between designers, apprentices, masters, jewelers, and setters.”
Her favorite eras range from the early 19th century to the first quarter of the 20th. Over roughly twelve decades, new manufacturing techniques, new stone cuts, and consequently new setting methods emerged. This evolution unfolded in a whirlwind of fast-moving styles, from Classicism to Baroque, from Art Nouveau to Art Deco.
After running a gallery for ten years in Liège and nearly as long in the Sablon district of Brussels, she now devotes herself to Art and Antiques fairs in Belgium and regularly organizes open days.
Since 2016, she has been organizing Art and Antiques fairs:
Château Sainte-Anne in Auderghem, from 2016 to 2014.
Château Bayard in Eghezée, since 2024.
The first edition will be held at Château Calmeyn in Drogenbos from October 9 to 12, 2025.
She will be pleased to welcome you by appointment only.
